SO, WHO ARE WE?
We are Laura, Dylan and our three boys, we live and run Fferm Ty Cynan Farm on the gorgeous Llyn Peninsula, North West Wales. We’re lucky enough to be in a great central location on the peninsula, based in the village of Rhydyclafdy.

WHAT ARE WE DOING?
Fferm Ty Cynan Farm is the Llyn Peninsula’s only seasonal fruit picking farm where you can come and pick your own fresh, ethically grown strawberries and pumpkins. We have a small on site café for which we bake fresh cakes everyday and we serve great coffee (happy to serve Coaltown).

Think summer afternoons of strawberry picking followed by a fresh slice of cake with a view over the wildflowers over the amazing countryside surrounding us.

Then think of an autumnal weekend, wrapped up warm, choose your wheelbarrow and pick the perfect pumpkin and enjoy a warming hot chocolate after with all the trimmings, plus some of that great chocolate cake.

Wait! Add in a pint and fresh pizza on a Saturday night. What better.

But! It doesn’t stop here! Keep your eyes peeled because there will be even more for 2026, we’re growing even more to offer you more choice and we’re investing in our café too. Exciting things to come!

BUT WHY ARE WE DOING THIS?
Wanting to get away from the 9-5 rat race that had us both commuting to Bangor for work we decided to take the leap and start Fferm Ty Cynan Farm, it’s taken an incredible amount of work and commitment to get to where we are so far, hours and hours in the fields, but so much unseen hours in the kitchen, behind the computer screen and all the rest.

But we are so happy with the progress we have made, we’ve welcomed more visitors than ever before in 2025, for strawberry picking, a piece of cake or an autumnal pumpkin, and we are so grateful to everyone who has chosen to visit.
